Gabriel Zambrano is currently a Master’s student in Psychology (Health and Interventions) at the University of Basel, where he also completed his Bachelor in Psychology. His academic background is complemented by practical experience in research and clinical settings, with a focus on mental health and behavioral interventions.
As a Research Assistant, he is involved in the research project “Playful Exergaming in Psychiatric Care (PEPC)”, led by Prof. Dr. Markus Gerber and Zoë Holland-Cunz. In his role, he supports participant recruitment, conducts data collection sessions, guides participants through study procedures and assists in the organization and preparation of assessments.
His professional background includes experience in psychosocial support, data collection and working in international environments, where he developed strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. He is particularly interested in the integration of innovative technologies and evidence-based interventions to improve mental health outcomes.
