Leonie Schwander is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Sport, Exercise and Health with a specialization in Prevention and Health Promotion at the Department of Sport, Exercise and Health (DSBG) at the University of Basel. Since March 2025, she has been working as a student assistant in the PACOUTPAT project. In this role, she supports participant recruitment in the day clinic, conducts assessments, and assists in the implementation of the study.
As part of her work in the project, she contributes to research on physical activity and lifestyle coaching for individuals with depressive disorders. In addition, she is involved in the NOW! project as a trainer, where she enjoys motivating children and fostering their enthusiasm for movement.
She is particularly interested in promoting physical activity, mental health, and prevention, and in making movement a positive experience in everyday life.
